Female character loop animations of jump, idle & run (my sixth animation project)

Here is my last animation project, number six which I completed at the end of my second animation course. Similar to my warrior princess from the first course I did, this is another female fighter. Her name is Koharu Itsuki and she took a fair bit of inspiration from Samus but also a bunch of other character concepts I had (see my concept drawings).

The first video is all the final looping animations (idle bounce, jump and run) all played one after the other in a continuous loop. This shows how this character could be used within a 2D platformer or fighting game, and also how smooth the transitions are between animations. Note the secondary action on the gun and sword, unsheathed and sheathed. Also all the animations had to start and finish at the same place, and were all contained within a 400px box, basically the in-game hitbox (hence the jump animation looking little odd, in game it would make sense).

So that video and the three looping gifs after are my final work. The other bits are just showing how my animation progressed as I worked on it.

I really want to finish this character with some colour and a beautiful face. Apart from that it's my favourite I've done so far. Be really cool to put it in a lil' game too :)
